Nature’s candy, dried figs are a real treat. The fruit comes to ripe, readiness around mid to late summer, and California is famous for the Mission variety–with dark purple exteriors and sweet, thick interior fruit. Nearly 100-percent of all dried and fresh figs come from California, and there are 100 producers and 9,300 acres dedicated to fig farming. However, we like to say that Dardimans is the top company when it comes to drying and beautiful packing. Our dried figs feature thick ribbons of black outer skin, and centers with dozens of bumpy seeds. All that great fig flavor you know and love is locked in a crunchable, sweet, juicy fruit crisp.
